My Dad the Asylum Worker/Mum the Kindergarten Teacher

Dad first worked at a gas station before I was born and then became a youth worker, a football coach and then what he is now. My father's job is to look after people with mental disabilities or people that are just insane. I have never been to where he works before but he tells me about it. He works from really early in the morning and comes back late in the day, I'm not sure what times exactly because I don't see him often. One of the things he told me was how if the patients try to leave they can't stop them once they leave the facilities perimeter and can only be asked nicely to come back they also get given activities to do like colouring in and the like.

My mother's job is to look after children which is almost the same thing. She works at a kindergarten from eight o'clock to I think around three. My first time there was fun but none of the kids believed that I was really my mother's daughter. I've enjoyed helping out there as the children are all ecstatic and fun to play with. Everyone is kind to me there and I like the kindergarten as it is unique with it's beautiful garden and D.I.Y play areas with a large tree sitting outside the center.

Mum enjoys working with children and is kind to them. I'd say he is one of the favourite teachers because the kids seem to like her a lot, she also likes to dress up for them as her alter ego: Nanny Mihi and she tells stories to them.

My favourite thing about my mum's job is that I can play with all the little kids and make friends with them. My favourite thing about Dad's is that he can tell me stories about it and I can make jokes with it.
