The Armageddon

Don't worry, I'm not talking about the end of the world it was an expo and this one was in Hamilton that I went to with my friends.

The Armageddon was awesome. Outside there were cosplayers (basically people who dress up as characters) already buying tickets and lining up. I saw heaps of really epic ones including Neo from The Matrix and a few Akatsuki members from Naruto.

Even though we had planned to stay in our group what managed to happen was everyone actually fell into random groups as we recognised each other and lost each other in the large crowds and surprisingly enough I managed to identify half of the cosplayers there.

You'll find it hard to believe but there were two daleks from Doctor Who and they both shot things at you. I'm pretty sure one of them stalked me and tried to exterminate me a lot because I saw it around corners and probably everywhere so my resolve was hiding behind my friends. There were a few events there that were panels with people from shows and signings from some pretty famous people like a few people from The Hobbit.

Everybody there was very kind and helpful like when I asked for pictures with them. I got pictures with four zombies, Crona from Soul Eater, Grell from Kuroshitsuji, The Beta kids from Homestuck and a few clones from Star Wars. My favourite cosplay was Booker from Bioshock because he had one of the weapons that actually worked and the costume was really detailed. The anime with the most cosplayers was almost definitely from Naruto with a lot of the ninja headbands and shinobi (Ninja veteran) vests.

There were also a lot of zombies due to the fifteen dollar booth to get a zombie facial. Catherine got one and it looked very real. The under eyes were darkened and some of the bones were darkened with blood and ripped skin. The worst thing was probably the fact that I had no money for anything because most of it was quite expensive.

Unfortunately the next day was nothing because I slept in until seven thirty PM only to have a shower, dinner and then go back to sleep. I was extremely exhausted and filled with fatigue so it was a fun day.
